On 10 June, we welcomed 14 teams of enthusiastic and competitive golfers gathered to Pyrford Lakes Golf Club for the second Echo Sixty One Golf Day of 2025. It was a brilliant opportunity for us to continue our support of the Justin Edinburgh 3 Foundation, with many fundraising opportunities throughout the day.

The day just wouldn’t have been possible without our headline sponsor; Aspray Basingstoke, who were captained Wayne Bridge. Thank you to Jack for your support for the day.
Each of our golfers were encouraged to dig deep for the Justin Edinburgh 3 Foundation, and join in with our five on course competitions. Once again, we would like to thank our competition sponsors; A Star Experience, M2M Direct, TaylorMade and Adidas Golf, who all sponsored or supplied absolutely amazing prizes really worth competing for!

It was brilliant to have live leaderboard scoring, provided by VPAR, so our teams could keep up to date with how well, or not, they were playing in both the team and individual competitions!
After 18 holes of brilliant competition golf, it was back to the club house to share stories of their rounds and sit down to a fabulous three course meal.
Our afternoon was hosted by none-other than Sky Sports Golf’s very own Jamie Weir, who added a hilarious brain taxing element to our usual game of heads and tails, as well as ensuring as much money as possible was squeezed out of the room in aid of The Justin Edinburgh 3 Foundation in our live auction, which comprised of entirely donated items including; Golf with Glenn Hoddle at Camberley Heath Golf Club, Four-Balls at Foxhills and a Signed Declan Rice Arsenal Shirt.
Massive congratulations to all our winners for the day:
Nearest the Line (sponsored by A Star Experience) -Teddy Sheringham
Nearest the Pin (sponsored by TaylorMade) - Nick Edwards
Get On The Dance Floor - Sam Fawdry
Nearest the Pin in Two (sponsored by M2M Direct) - Richard Bloch
Nearest the Pin (sponsored by Adidas Golf) - Andy King

Our Individual Winner was Tony Abbott - taking home the Echo Sixty One Claret Jug, as well as a bottle of Champagne.
Our hard fought Team Competition finished with Foooore-Skins in third place, and Par-Tee Animals in Second.
Our Champions were Latch Media; congratulations on your win!
Now the piece of news you have all been waiting for; it gives us a great amount of pride to announce that the day raised £6,000 for the Justin Edinburgh 3 Foundation! Thank you to each and every person who donated to help continue the great work the foundation are doing to raise awareness surrounding CPR and use of defibrillators. Please don’t forget you can help them as they continue their campaign for a legislative change to make ‘Justins Law’ a reality; where it will be a legal requirement for all health and sports facilities in the United Kingdom to be equipped with a defibrillator. Please sign the petition here!
Thank you again to everyone who was involved in the success of the day; all our sponsors, our sporting celebrities, the team at Pyrford Lakes and our brilliant golfers!
We can't wait for the third Golf Day of the year at The Addington in three months time...!!
