On 16 April, 69 enthusiastic and competitive golfers gathered at Burhill Golf Club for the first Echo Sixty One Golf Day of 2026. It was a brilliant opportunity for us to continue our support of the Justin Edinburgh 3 Foundation, with many fundraising opportunities throughout the day.

The day just wouldn’t have been possible without our headline sponsor; Crep Protect, who not only entered two teams for the day, but also provided each of our guests with the goodie bag of dreams, generously sponsored a hilarious ‘Happy Gilmore’ putting competition and brought all the good vibes both on the course and in the club house after.
Each of our golfers were encouraged to dig deep for the Justin Edinburgh 3 Foundation, and join in with our six on course competitions. Once again, we would like to thank our competition sponsors; PS Private Hire, Link Consultants, The Aubrey, A Star Experience, Adidas Golf who all sponsored or supplied absolutely amazing prizes really worth competing for!

Thank you also, to all the other fantastic businesses that sponsored holes, you all helped make the day memorable for all involved; Croghan Brown Interiors, Aspray Basingstoke, First Rate Glazing, Colmenar Building, Lavery Rowe Advertising, DSI Ltd., JK Group, Wildsmith Jewellery, Fairways London and Jade Bar, those cocktails were a taste sensation!
After 18 holes of brilliant competition golf, it was back to the club house to share stories of their rounds and sit down to a stunning three course meal.

Our afternoon was hosted by none-other than Sky Sports very own Adam 'Smithy' Smith, hillarious moments including a brilliant golf themed game of heads and tails, ensuring as much money as possible was squeezed out of the room in aid of The Justin Edinburgh 3 Foundation in our live auction, which comprised of entirely donated items including; four-balls at some of Britains most exclusive courses and a Signed Italia '90 Paul Gascoigne Shirt.

Now the piece of news you have all been waiting for; it gives us a great amount of pride to announce that the day raised £7,015 for the Justin Edinburgh 3 Foundation! Thank you to each and every person who donated to help continue the great work the foundation are doing to raise awareness surrounding CPR and use of defibrillators. Please don’t forget you can help them as they continue their campaign for a legislative change to make ‘Justins Law’ a reality; where it will be a legal requirement for all health and sports facilities in the United Kingdom to be equipped with a defibrillator. Please sign the petition here!
Thank you again to everyone who was involved in the success of the day; all our sponsors, our sporting celebrities, the team at Burhill Golf Club and our brilliant golfers!
We can't wait for the second Golf Day of the year at Camberley Heath in three weeks time...!!
