On 21 May, golfers gathered at the stunning Camberley Heath Golf Club for the third annual Echo Sixty One Golf Day at the course - and what a day it proved to be. Set against the backdrop of one of Surrey’s most prestigious heathland courses, the event once again brought together sport, business, fundraising and unforgettable memories, all in support of the Justin Edinburgh 3 Foundation.

The day would not have been possible without the incredible support of our headline sponsors, Link Consultants. Having previously supported our events as competition sponsors, it was fantastic to welcome Bobby and the team in an even bigger capacity this year. Their continued backing helped elevate the event and ensured another brilliant experience for everyone involved.

From registration and breakfast through to the final putt on the 18th green, the atmosphere around Camberley Heath was exceptional. Our golfers enjoyed a day of competitive golf on a course regarded as one of the county’s finest, while taking part in a range of on-course fundraising challenges and competitions throughout the day in aid of the Justin Edinburgh 3 Foundation.

We were also delighted to welcome a fantastic line-up of celebrity guests and sporting personalities who helped make the day extra special; Justins former team mate Steve Sedgley, former West Ham and Chelsea defender Scott Minto and Golf Life's 'Ange'; made their Echo Sixty One Debuts, along side great friends of The JE3 Foundation; John Salako, Harry Redknapp and 'Tubes', thank you to all of you for your humour and energy with everyone on the fairways and in the clubhouse. A huge thanks must go to Sky Sports golf correspondent Jamie Weir, who hosted the day brilliantly.

Our competition sponsors once again helped create some amazing moments across the course, with fantastic prizes up for grabs throughout the day. Thank you to Crep Protect, TaylorMade, Adidas Golf, A Star Experience, PS Private Hire, Fairways London and Group 1 BMW Farnborough for their incredible support and generosity.

We would also like to thank all of our hole sponsors and supporting businesses who helped make the event possible. Your support plays a massive part in allowing us to continue raising awareness and funds for the Justin Edinburgh 3 Foundation and the incredible work they continue to do surrounding CPR awareness and defibrillator access.

After a superb day on the course, golfers returned to the clubhouse to relax, share stories from the day and enjoy fantastic food and entertainment. The evening celebrations continued with fundraising activities, competitions and a silent auction packed with incredible prizes and experiences, helping raise vital funds for the foundation.

One of the proudest moments of the day came away from the golf itself, with Camberley Heath Golf Club, JE3 Foundation Link Consultants and Echo Sixty One Events proudly unveiling a trio of newly installed defibrillators on the course. Defibs are now in place at the Club House and Half Way House as well as one now a located in the tunnel connecting both sides of the course, helping improve safety and accessibility for all members and visitors.

Most importantly, the day once again highlighted the power of the golfing community coming together to support an incredible cause. Every auction bid made and every competition entered helped support the Justin Edinburgh 3 Foundation raising an amazing £10575.10 on the day!

A huge thank you goes to everyone who played a part in making the day such a success — our sponsors, celebrity guests, golfers, supporters and the brilliant team at Camberley Heath Golf Club.

We are already counting down the days until the next Echo Sixty One Golf Day at The Addington in September!
